Timer Widget – Free Countdown for Any Website
Put a big, readable countdown on any website: a blog, a workout or recipe page, a class site or a team wiki. Pick a timer, copy the code and paste it into your page. Visitors get the shrinking ring, the large digits and the alarm, with no ads and no sign-up. The embedded timer has the same Start, Pause, Reset and ±1 minute buttons, and a full-screen view for a TV or projector.
How to add the timer to your site
Google Sites
- Open your site and choose Insert, then Embed.
- Pick the Embed code tab, paste the code and press Next, then Insert.
- Drag the box taller so the whole timer shows, then publish.
Canvas, Schoology and other learning platforms
Open the page editor, switch to the HTML or source view, paste the code where you want the timer, and save. Some school platforms block embedded pages; if the timer does not appear, add a link to the timer page instead.
WordPress, Squarespace and Wix
Add a Custom HTML block (WordPress), a Code block (Squarespace) or an Embed HTML element (Wix), paste the code and update the page.
Notion
Type /embed, paste the address from the code's src="…" part (for example https://chalktimer.com/embed/classroom-timer/) and pressEmbed link.
Slides and PowerPoint
Slides cannot run a live timer inside a slide. Link a word or button on the slide to a timer page, such as the classroom timer, and open it on the board when the activity starts.
